Optimizer Infeed System

This Optimizing Saw Infeed system is designed to provide a constant flow of material to your Optinizing Chop Saw. This system is capable of handling 12" wide material 6 to 20 feet long. The stock enters the system at the upper right of the diagram. A Breakdown Hoist can be used to feed this system. The five strand landing and transfer chain conveyor carries stock to the 3 grade / marking stations. The Graders lift the stock (aided by a jack bar) to their gravity rollcase. Mirrors are included to allow each Grader to view the bottom of the board. After marking the boards are manually lowered to the six strand passive lug chain conveyor which feeds a three hook buffer. The plc controlled buffer section provides constant flow to the variable speed canted infeed rollcase which insures proper board gap and maximum output with a "smart fence" that is plc controlled. This is one example of this type of system. Many options are available to suit your particular need.
